What does the Seal of Approval mean
Through a recurring audit of data processing, industry association DDMA checks whether organizations respect applicable laws and regulations aimed at protecting personal data. If an organization carries the Seal of Approval, it means that they have been audited for compliance with privacy laws and transparent handling of personal data.
Privacy Seal of Approval, hallmark of DDMA
The Privacy Seal of Approval is the hallmark of DDMA, the trade association for data and marketing. Our 340 members gain and bring to us knowledge about using data to communicate relevantly with their target audiences. We regularly organize networking and knowledge meetings. We require our members to act within the framework of the law and privacy codes of conduct. Therefore, all our members do the privacy and security check of the Privacy Guarantee. In addition, we speak with stakeholders in The Hague and Brussels about the development of a sustainable data economy. We also support our members with legal advice in the field of data security and privacy rules.
